Giuseppe Mazzoni Triumvir

Giuseppe [Joseph] Mazzoni (Prato, December 16, 1808 - Prato, May 11, 1880) was an Italian politician, federal, Triumvir of Tuscany.

Fontana del Pescatorello [ or Duck] the basin

The fountain is made of marble with marine animals, dominated by a sculpture of a young fisherman, designed and sculpted by Mariano Falcini by Emanuele Caroni Changes and Ulysses.
Citizens have nicknamed Duck Fountain for swans carved on the edge of the tanks.

Plaque in front of the fountain indicates the date of completation, was 1862.

The bastion of forks was the site of executions, it was commissioned by " Cosimo I de Medici " and restore early as '600.

Scorpions are predatory arthropod animals of the order Scorpiones within the class Arachnida. They have eight legs and are easily recognized by the pair of grasping claws and the narrow, segmented tail, often carried in a characteristic forward curve over the back, ending with a venomous stinger. Scorpions range in size from 9 mm to 21 cm.
